A .Product description

Photochromic microcapsulated powder contain 2-5%photochromic dye and less than 3% moisture, suitable for solvent/aqueous based ink/paint and plastic injection/extrusion. The average particle size is 3-10µm.

B .Properties

Photochromic microcapsulated powder is a pigment, which is heat and solvent resistant. The powder shows brilliant color when exposed to sunlight/UV, suitable for plastic injection and solvent based ink/paint.

C .Recommended concentrations

For aqueous/solvent ink/paint 3%-30% w/w

(For best results, about 25% concentration is required for 20um film thickness)

For plastic injection/extrusion 0.2-5% w/w

(For best results, about 1% concentration is required for 0.2cm plastic thickness)

D .General Recommendations

Added heat stabilizer and processed at temperature not higher than 230°C when applied to plastic injection/extrusion.

E .Application

Coating: suitable for all types of surface coating products, including PMMA paint, ABS painting, PVC paint, etc.

Inks: all kinds printing of materials, including fabric, paper, synthetic film, glass, etc.
Plastic Products: Plastic applicable to all types of PP, PVC, ABS, silicone rubber material such as injection, extrusion forming.
